Every good dog trainer will tell you that your new puppy’s first experiences beyond the new security of your home are most important. The average trip to a groomer can turn out to be a traumatizing experience for a new unfamiliar puppy.

Imagine being locked in a stainless steel condo cage surrounded by other animals (that you know are crying for help) being pushed and pulled around a busy shop full of new sounds, strange people all focused on meeting schedule and getting the next dog in.

Absolutely Not..! At Tera’s we don’t even own a cage. Every puppy is treated with love, one on one attention and only a positive gentle experience.

 

Every puppy receives the following:

• Warm, gentle all natural bath in a relaxing environment.
• We towel dry and gently brush your pup, never overwhelming them with more than they are comfortable with.
• Positive reinforcement… during the groom we have organic puppy treats so they relate grooming as a reward.
• Our salon is scheduled one family at a time, your puppy will not be near any other pets.
• Clean and puppy safe environment, we use the same cleaner your Veterinarian does and the entire premises have been “puppy proofed” from escape or anything possibly harmful to any animal.
